Beautiful and imposing house on the North Devon Cliff Tops. Perfect for family celebrations or that special birthday. Excellent location for a summer holiday with plenty of scope to explore the local area and coastline
An elegant Georgian house, situated remotely in open farmland close to the cliffs of the rugged and dramatic North Devon coast. This is a designated ‘area of outstanding natural beauty’ and the house has superb views out to sea as well as inland across a wooded valley to the tall mediaeval tower of St Nectan’s church in the nearby hamlet of Stoke.
Great care has been taken to retain the historic character of the building whilst discreetly incorporating up-to-the-minute facilities and a sense of contemporary style. A group of up to 20 adults and four children can take over Berry House and enjoy open fires, a games room, beautiful walks from the door, rugged landscapes and a fabulous local pub.
There is a large games room with petit-football, a pool table and a computer set-up providing WiFi internet and links to all local attractions and information. Beyond is the reading room facing west out to sea with comfortable sofas on which to curl up with a good book or watch the large, flat-screen TV with video/DVD.
Other facilities include a boot/utility room and a cloakroom.
